Leesville Widening Project Public Hearing

Set for March 6

A public hearing will be held on March 6 to consider improvements related to the Leesville Road widening project. A meeting was held on Dec. 7, 2011 to present design information and preliminary right-of-way and easements needs for the widening of Leesville Road from I-540 to New Leesville Boulevard. The March 6 meeting will discuss the final authorization of the project.

The project will widen the road to a minimum of four lanes throughout and include five-foot wide bicycle lanes, curb and gutter, and sidewalks on both sides. It will also include a raised landscaped median.
