The school year is almost over; the days are getting longer and warmer. That means summer is right around the corner. Try something new this summer and join the City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation's Adventure Program for a one week Expedition Surf Camp to Wrightsville Beach. We have a few spots left. Register today and in a few weeks you can be soaking up the sun and surfing in the warm waters off the coast of North Carolina.

One Week Expedition: Surf Camp #121223
The secret is out. Surfing is not only cool, but with the right instruction kids of all ages can learn how to ride in style. This camp is all about the beach, the sun and the surf. Wrightsville Beach is the back drop for the week, and between lessons we will learn about the ocean ecology first hand.

Lessons are from 'Surf Camp' as are board rentals. The goal of this camp is to introduce campers to surfing and boogie boarding skills in an ocean environment while developing group cohesion, and individual camper responsibility.

Surf Camp is a non-facility based program that involves outdoor activity including surfing in summer temperatures. Overnight accommodations are campsites with access to showers and restrooms. If you love the water and outdoors, this is your camp. Sign up today!
