2012 Residential/Energy Code

Due to the adoption of the 2012 Residential/Energy code, the Enclosed Spaces requirements have changed.

  • Handrails must be between 34" - 38" in height
  • Minimum insulation requirements are as follows: Floors R-19, Walls R-15, Ceiling R-38 or R-30 Uncompressed Continuous
