Part Time Position: Recreation Instructor - Swim Lessons Coordinator - Specialized Recreation

Minimum Requirements
Previous swim instruction or swim team experience required. Lifeguard or WSI certification strongly preferred.
This position requires the ability to adapt and modify aquatic activities and at least two years experience teaching swim lessons.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong leadership, supervisory and communication skills needed. Knowledge of swim instruction and safety in the aquatic environment is essential.
Position Duties
Lesson coordinators oversee all aspects of swim lessons, including all pre-lesson communication, management of paperwork and the supervision of swim instructors. In the event that an instructor must be absent, the lesson coordinator is expected to fill in and continue with quality instruction.
Responsibilities:
Oversees swim lessons including pre-lesson communication, supervision of swim instructors, and management of paperwork. Coordinator will also instruct lessons in the event of an instructor absence.
