Minimum Requirements
Previous swim instruction or swim team experience required. Lifeguard or WSI certification strongly preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary. Knowledge of swim instruction and safety in the aquatic environment is essential. Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
Position Duties
Instructors are responsible for teaching lessons according to established guidelines, as well as, communicating with parents and ensuring swimmers' safety at all times.
