Part Time Position: Camp Counselsor - Laurel Hills Summer Xpress

Description & Duties:

Counselors will supervise and interact with children ages 6-11 years in an all-day, summer-long, recreational camp setting.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• act as a positive role model at all times
• pay close attention to detail; counselors are expected to supervise children at all times
• provide constant communication with Camp Director, Facility Supervisors, and participants
• assist in the development and organization of camp activities based on themes and camper interests
• room set-up and breakdown on a daily basis, including necessary cleaning duties
• adhere to City of Raleigh Policies and Procedures
• attend all required trainings prior to start of camp
