Extra Garbage Cart

Raleigh Solid Waste Services provides each household we serve with one 95-gallon garbage container. For residents who consistently produce more garbage than will fit in the cart there are several options:

  1. Purchase a second garbage cart. Each household may purchase one additional cart for a fee of $40 each.
  2. Ensure that you are recycling all that you can. This will help reduce the amount of garbage you have! Review this list of the items that we accept for recycling.
